Forever wasn't meant to be 
In your life you will meet many different people  
You may even fall in love with a few
These relationships can be both good and bad 
Some are meant for you to learn lessons on what you really want or need
Others you get to learn about yourself and how strong you can be
Even when it wasn't meant to be
In the end the bad ones
Your learn that your feelings were real
The way you cared for them was real
You may have even thought you truly loved them
That why when the relationship ends the emotions can be overwhelming 
No matter the situation it wasn't meant to be 
You have to take time for you 
To gather your thoughts
Piece yourself back together 
So you can move on with life
To be able to love again 
Even though the last one you thought would be your forever
It wasn't meant to be
