We’re not supposed to be alone
Life isn’t supposed to be this way
With you being gone

You were supposed to be old and gray
With all of us by your bedside
So we can say our good-byes 
Instead we are left with the memories of the call
No one last kiss or hug
No more I love you

The holidays are coming
The first ones without you here
Instead of making plans and memories
