In my life I’ve never felt a hurt like this
To feel so lost without you here
I’m left with a broken heart
My mom was my world
Always has been

No matter what our ups and downs were
We knew we had each other
To talk too, to lean on
My life will never be the same

I wish I could have been there with you
To hold your hand when you left this world
To hear you voice one last time
To get one last hug and kiss
To hear you say I love you

But that didn’t happen 
It wasn’t meant to be
A broken heart is what I’m left here with
I hope you remember that I love you and always will
