The feeling of love that once was there hardens 
No more need to go put forth the effort to shine brightly
The connection is all gone

One night changed it all
That one decision to choose to step away from the vows
That were once said to each other
Turned love to hate

No words can ever repair something like this
Life will never be the same
Hearts will take a long time to mend 
When love turns to hate
