First Loves

When you have your first love
You want everything to be perfect and to go as planned
But you usually end up with a few bumps in the road
Some bigger than others
Some separate you for a few days or maybe a few months
But some bumps are so big that you are separated for a few years
While you sit and wait to see if their maybe that second chance
Never give up on trying to find your first love
Never ever think they still don’t love you as much as you love them
Because you don’t know
In their heart they haven’t given up on you
You can only hope there is another chance to right a wrong
And return to your first love
