Torn Lovers

When we were young 
We were told that we could never be
Even though they could see our love for one another
They tried to keep us apart
Our love grew stronger more and more everyday
But now it has become torn between
Our family’s war
Only because we knew we were destine to be together
And our families were destine to keep us apart 
But do you know where we will meet
In heaven where torn lovers
Can at last find peace
