Lost emotions
Life and relationships have never been easy for me
I get hurt every time 
A little piece of me dies every time it happens
The lost emotional feelings deaden
Never wanting to open again
Then someone comes in the picture
And those emotions start to stir
Unfortunately they stirred and should have stayed quite
But one they have stirred there is no real way to stop them 
A hug or a touch just makes the fire burn brighter
And a kiss will make them explode
So no matter the hurt you go through
No matter how big the emotional shutdown is 
You still feel the unexpected 
But you need to hide and stuff those emotions away
Because once that emotional line between friends is crossed
There is no going back
So all you can do is go and find what you need in life
Whether it means you stay alone or find something for the night
That may help suffocate the fire burning in your soul
And wait for the emotions to go silent once again
