Inner Outer Beauty

Inner beauty
In which you have so much of
You have a real good sense of humor
And a lovely personality
You have a good sense of morals
With a real, open, honest line of communication
No head games
Outer beauty
You also have a lot of
Smooth fresh skin
Silky black hair
Dreamy dark eyes
Tender lips
With a wonderful pear shape
Oh what a shame
But because the years pass by so quickly
What do you think you will have
Remember your outer beauty fades
Into scars, lines and years of pain stat to show
But your other half is to blame
Will your love be the same
Probably not
But who’s to blame
What is really important
Is the beauty inside
It will always out last
The outer beauty we’ve eyed for so long
As love tries to rekindle
Any flame that it can find
Will our love ever be the same
Not unless
She can see her inner beauty
And understand
That looks aren’t forever
Only a kind heart is
