Never Again

I’ve said never again many times
No more chances with love
No more opening my heart
No more opening that door
So why am I fighting with myself
Trying to stop it from pulling me apart
I don’t want love anymore
I don’t want it in my life
I don’t want it to follow me
Because I meant it when I said never again
All these feelings need to go
And they need to leave me alone 
One day I’ll be strong enough to keep it out
And when I say never again
It will finally listen
