I always wondered what made you turn my way
To look at me or even speak to me
When I saw you, I felt something so deep inside for you
To me I had found my guiding light through all the darkness I was in
I found you
And you were right there the whole time
I see you as someone so special in every way
Even though you don’t even see it
Every inch of you makes me melt
From your heart that makes me feel so loved
From your eyes that stops me in my tracks
From your strong arms holding me when we sleep, making me feel safe and warm
To the words you say to me everyday
You are my guiding light
Always have been, always will be
I will love you from now until eternity
No one can ever change that
My guiding light, please shine your light so I can find my way home
